5 Tips For Sensory Overload!

The Neurodivergent Therapy Space

- Find a safe and comfortable place to relax. Make sure it is quiet, has minimal lighting, and is free from any distractions.

- Practice breathing exercises and mindfulness activities that can help you stay grounded and focused.

- Take sensory breaks throughout the day. Give yourself time away from overstimulating environments.

- Create an environment that is comfortable for you. Use noise-cancelling headphones, wear comfortable clothing, and find a space that is calming for you.

- Reach out for support when needed. Talk to supportive friends, family, or a mental health professional if you are feeling overwhelmed.

Be kind to yourself
